It's got a few really decent new features like the content-aware stuff and puppet transform but aside from those it's not a hell of a lot different from its predecessors. I've only had it a couple of days so there's probably a lot more I have yet to discover.
If you know of anyone who works in education or is a current student with a student ID card (so basically anyone with a .ac.uk email address) you can get huge discount. I just happen to work for a University so got CS5 Design Standard for £240 rather than over £1000.
