the dome was beaten out on my kitchen step on top of a peice of log , and the rest was done at my desk, which is some old industrial racking.

Have you thought about making a full sized one..?... I did the second I saw your orignall picture... even thinking that one of those old dome topped emersion heater tanks would make a perfect body for it..??
